Nature Coatings is headquartered in Nevada. We also have in-house manufacturing capacity that allows us to scale production in the southeast United States. We also have a global distribution network on nearly every continent (see our global footprint here↗).

Wood waste is globally abundant, and in the United States alone, about 50 million tonnes of wood waste is burned or landfilled each year. Rather than burn the wood or allow it to decompose, which emits massive amounts of CO2, we developed a proprietary process to convert that waste into black pigments without having to burn the wood. Nature Coatings’ wood waste is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council so partners can be sure that the source material is sustainability sourced.

Fossil-based black pigments can make up more than 10% of a company’s carbon footprint. BioBlack is a safe and high-performing alternative to petroleum-derived carbon black that is carbon negative, which means it not only reduces emissions but actively removes it from the environment.
